How to Burn on Mobile

For Metamask users on mobile

If you have access to a dekstop/laptop, we suggest using that option. If you do not have access to one of those, then follow the instructions below.

To Burn on Metamask mobile:

Step 1. Download Metamask Mobile App

Step 2. Sign in to app

Step 3. Open in-app browser

Step 4. Copy/paste link to TheLandSafe website: https://www.thelandsafe.io/

Step 5. Scroll to Burn section

Step 6. Click “approve” button* (very small gas fee)

Note: You must approve the NFTs in your wallet in order to be able to burn *When you execute the "approve" function, all TheLandSafe NFTs in your wallet will be approved as available to burn. You then can decide which of those you would like to burn. Only the ones you list in Step 8 below will be burned.

Step 7. Sign and confirm transaction (wait for transaction confirmation)

Step 8. In the field above the “Burn” button, type the token IDs of TheLandSafe NFTs you are submitting for burn separated by a comma, NO SPACES.

For example, let's say you own 3 TheLandSafe NFTs #420, #666, and #1069. If you wanted to burn #420 and #666, but not #1069, then type 420,666 into the field with NO SPACES. If you wanted to burn all three, you would type in 420,666,1069 with NO SPACES.

Step 9. Click “Burn” button

Step 10. Sign and confirm transaction (small gas fee)

Note: ETH will be automatically deposited into your wallet upon successful burn and your NFT will be sent to Burn address.
